ਜੇਕਰ ਜੀਆਂਗੇ, ਜੀਆਂਗੇ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਜੇਕਰ ਮਰਾਂਗੇ, ਮਰਾਂਗੇ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ।
Bhai Sukhdev Singh Ji
and Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji were two diamonds of Khalsa Panth who devoted their
lives to the freedom movement. They were an inspiration to many Sikhs. They
punished Lalat Makan and Arjan Das, people who lead the mobs in Delhi Massacre.
They punished General Vaideya who lead the Indian army in Operation Blue Star.
They were most feared in Delhi by the Indian police. When they were arrested,
they were given death sentence which they celebrated happily and distributed
sweets. They put the ropes around their necks and embraced death like true
Gursikhs. Their martyrdom was a big loss to the movement. Their names will be
remembered for ages to comes.
